Job Summary
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading construction projects from pre-construction through closeout. This includes managing schedules, budgets, teams, and subcontractors while ensuring high standards of quality, safety, and compliance. The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills, extensive field experience, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all phases of project life cycle, from planning to completion
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets
- Coordinate and lead meetings with owners, architects, subcontractors, and vendors
- Ensure project is executed safely, on time, and within scope and budget
- Review drawings, specifications, and contracts to ensure clarity and compliance
- Supervise project team members and field staff; provide direction and support
- Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies
- Monitor progress, perform regular site visits, and generate status reports
- Manage change orders, procurement, and project documentation
- Ensure quality control and regulatory compliance throughout the build
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry
- Proven track record of delivering medium to large-scale commercial or infrastructure projects
- Proficiency in project management tools such as Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam, Primavera
- Strong knowledge of building codes, construction methods, and safety standards
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to travel to job sites as required
Preferred
- PMP or CCM certification is a plus
- LEED accreditation and experience with sustainable construction is a bonus
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is an advantage
