About the Client
Our client is a well-established construction company known for delivering high-quality residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects across the U.S. With a strong emphasis on innovation, safety, and timely execution, they are seeking a skilled Project Engineer to support ongoing and upcoming construction projects.
Job Summary
As a Project Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects. You will work closely with Project Managers, field teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure that all aspects of the project run smoothly, on schedule, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with the daily management, coordination, and execution of construction projects.
Review and interpret project plans, drawings, and specifications.
Manage documentation including RFIs, submittals, change orders, and daily reports.
Track and report on project progress, schedule, and budget performance.
Collaborate with field staff and subcontractors to resolve technical issues.
Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols and company policies.
Conduct site visits and assist in inspections and quality control.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
2–5 years of relevant experience in construction engineering or project management.
Proficiency in project management and construction software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam).
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and construction safety standards.
Preferred
EIT certification or progress toward PE licensure.
Experience in large-scale commercial or infrastructure projects.
Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus.
